Suggested Readings

Many patients tell me that getting old is for the brave! I've collected suggested readings and am passing them forward.

The first book was recommended as being helpful to learn what to expect during this stage of life.

The second book is about muscles/resistance training since I encourage ongoing resistance training for everyone to reduce the risk of muscle atrophy — helpful for strength, agility, and balance.

There are three books about neuroplasticity and helping to keep the brain sharp. The last one is about loneliness and why maintaining connections is so important for our health and well-being. Happy reading!
